If you are reading this, you probably know, I will be traveling to East Asia again soon! These pictures bring back so many memories... I am looking forward to so many things! This last weekend I visited a Chinese restaurant and had a fabulous time speaking Chinese with the owners. It makes me so excited to learn more language and culture soon.
One of the amazing things about language, you do not have to know all the words to communicate fully your intended point. I hope to become fluent, but in the mean time it is fun to try to communicate with a small vocabulary. I recently purchased a new phone and downloaded an app to translate characters into pin-yin and English. I am already starting to use it to discover more of the language.
For those of you who I haven't seen in awhile, I studied agriculture and graduated from college, I worked on a small sustainable farm in Northern California for the last year and am excited to be embarking on a new journey soon!
